Henry is back home and doing well after a 12-hour overnight pit stop chez Children's Hospital, where he partook of their exclusive junior tanning suite (and jaundice treatment). Not sure whether Dad also needs more sun, or more sleep, or perhaps both at once..

Friday 1pm: Dad's been too busy taking photos to actually be in one, but here are brother and sister taken together for the first time. Karenna's first comment on seeing Henry was "He looks so small!".

7am Friday morning: The little fellow is eating very well and it's clear he wants to stay close to his Mom because he sleeps much more soundly there. Alice and I think Henry does have a strong resemblance to his sister Karenna. This nifty wool cap was given to Henry by one of his nurses - there's a local woman who makes and donates these to the ward. He stands out in the nursery because he's the only baby to have one for some reason.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all our friends helping out during these first few days - especially Paul Bennett who answered the (urgent but attempting to remain calm-sounding) call late Wed night so that we could take off for the hospital, and Stephanie and Joao who have helped look after Karenna since then as well.
